1. Who we are
Cost Pulse AI ("we", "us") provides an AI-assisted finance copilot for founders and small teams at costpulseai.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email, name, authentication identifiers.
- App content you enter: revenues, expenses, payroll, notes, reports, diary entries.
- Billing data: plan, subscription status, and Stripe customer ID. We do not store card numbers.
- Usage data: basic logs, error reports, and feature usage counts.
3. How we use your data
- Provide the product: dashboards, reports, AI copilot responses.
- Generate AI insights from your entries using model providers (Lovable AI Gateway, OpenAI as fallback).
- Process payments via Stripe and manage subscriptions.
- Respond to support requests you send via Contact Us.
4. AI processing
When you ask the copilot or generate a report, the entries needed for that request are sent to an AI model provider for inference. Providers process inputs to return a response and do not train on your data under their API terms. Outputs may be inaccurate — review before acting.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored in our managed backend with row-level security so each user only accesses their own data. Connections are encrypted in transit. We restrict admin access to a small team.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with processors needed to run the service: hosting, database, AI model providers, Stripe (payments), and email delivery for support replies.
7. Your rights
You can export or delete your data at any time from the app. Email us via Contact Us to request access, correction, or full account deletion.
8. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, content is removed from our active database.
9. Children
The service is not intended for users under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
